A platform to promote entrepreneurship based on distinctive research results and technological seeds from local universities in the Koshin and Northern Kanto regions, in collaboration with local governments, regional banks, and other partners, aiming to realize a local startup ecosystem.
Focusing on problem-solving capabilities and contributions to the community through collaboration between local universities and regional stakeholders, this initiative seeks to create regional startups that can transform society by working in conjunction with venture capital and advanced regions.
Through IJIE’s efforts, the goal is to build a unique innovation ecosystem within the region, fostering the fusion and collaboration between startups and local industries to generate new added value and employment, contributing to the revitalization and economic growth of the region.

A startup creation platform based on universities and technical colleges in the Hokuriku region, with the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) and Kanazawa University as the lead institutions, and 10 universities and 3 technical colleges from the Hokuriku region as partner institutions.
For commercialization promotion, around 20 organizations, including Vision Incubate and regional venture capital firms, are participating, while about 30 organizations such as local governments, affiliated organizations, regional banks, and economic organizations from the three prefectures are collaborating to establish an industry-academia-government-finance collaboration system.
Through this platform, an ecosystem will be built to continuously circulate talent, knowledge, and funds within the Hokuriku region, aiming to create a cumulative total of 100 university and technical college-based startups by 2033, significantly enhancing the startup creation environment in both quality and quantity.

By viewing polysaccharide agricultural waste as a resource, I aim to establish a bioplastic recycling platform that produces only the necessary amount of renewable bioplastic products. These products are collected and regenerated after use, ensuring continuous, waste-free utilization. Through this, I will realize a sustainable future society driven by a value innovation that avoids mass production and mass disposal.
I will build a supply chain for the production, consumption, and recycling of bioplastics, achieving absolute decoupling, and establish a new biorefinery production technology that suppresses waste generation without relying on fossil resources.
